REMINDERS!
1. Each year, one quarter of the Executive Committee positions are up for election. For the 2020 Reunion, the positions of Recording Secretary and Chaplain were up for election. Marilyn B. Royal is the current Recording Secretary and eligible for reelection. The Chaplain position is vacant. If you are interested in serving in one of those positions or want to nominate someone for those positions, please send to President Charles Robinson. Duties for the position are found to the left under 'Elect 2020'.
2. Please let us know of any significant events in your life or the life of a family member since our last 2019 family reunion (Births, Deaths, Marrianges, Graduations, Retirements, new Careers, Accomplishments, start up of businesses, managing your business, military accomplishments, inventions, etc). WE are continuing to monitor the coronavirus activity and taking all precautions in conjunction with the hotel to ensure we are following all safety and health guidelines for our Reunion weekend. This includes social distancing, personal protective equipment, and masks. We are asking everyone to help all of us stay safe by abiding and adhering to all measures and provisions in place during our Reunion gathering. We are once again pleased to announce that we will be able
to support and continue to salute and honor our Youth in
their educational endeavors through participation in our annual
awarding of the Doretha Robinson Davis (DRD) Scholarships.
We highly encourage you to support our Youth in school
to submit applications to be eligible for the scholarship awards.
Now incorporated, it is important to assist our Youth and
family members pursuing educational development.
Click on the 'DRD Scholarship Fund' tab on the left of page to see the criteria, questions, and application information for the DRD scholarships. Applications must be received by midnight August 27, 2021.
Throughout the Reunion weekend, there will be other fun and
educational events or activities planned to highlight the ‘Capitol Experience’.

FRIDAY: CHECK-IN 3PM (September 3, 2021)
Festivities begin at 4 pm for early arrivals – Happy Hour in the
Lobby Lounge & registration begins. The official Welcome & Reception
begins at 6 pm. Please join us for introductions, games, socializing,
and a reception meal. Oh, there will be some prizes awarded.
Night tour of D.C. and visit to the National Harbor and MGM Casino
for those still awake.
SATURDAY: (Morning) (September 4, 2021)
Early morning walk/jog & workout for the health-conscious. Registration
continues and the Executive Board meeting takes place (9 am tentative).
Educational activities to be planned prior to tours of D.C.
to include the African-American Museum, Bible Museum,
National Mall, Washington Monument, US Capitol, White House,
Smithsonian National Archives, Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials,
etc. (see below)
Family Evening Banquet (6pm-12am) begins with Social Hour –
time for photos/pictures as we represent our evening theme
“The Presidential Ball – Salute to our 44th President”.
Do research and come prepared. Honor our DRD Scholarship winners.
And, please don’t forget your dancing shoes, because we will dance
he night away at our annual “Family Dance”. More details to follow!
