49th Robinson Roots Family Reunion

Dear Family, 

The Philadelphia Chapter is looking forward to this year’s Robinson Roots Family 
Reunion and seeing you.  The planning is almost completed so that we have a wonderful 
time together in Philadelphia for the Labor Day weekend.  

This 49th reunion will be held in the heart of the city at the Hampton Inn Hotel – near landmarks and great attractions including the Liberty Bell, the African American Museum, the Reading Terminal Farmers’ Market, the Fashion District, Penn’s Landing, and many more places to explore. We are looking forward to our family visiting the beautiful city of Philadelphia.  

Our theme for this year’s reunion is “Family Ties:  Unbreakable, Unforgettable” with 
Scripture reference Hebrews 6:19a as a reminder that God is the anchor of our family. 

Our reunion center for the weekend will be the Hampton Inn, 1301 Race Street, 
Philadelphia PA  19107.   The room rate, for one or two adults, is $173.40/night 
including tax.  [The daily rate increases $10 for the third and $10 for the fourth adult 
occupant; there is no cost/limit for children.]  Parking is directly across the street; valet 
parking with in/out privileges is $47/day.  Hotel reservations may be made by calling 
the Hampton Inn at 215-665-9100.  Please be sure to mention the group name 
‘Robinson Roots Reunion’ to receive the discounted price ($149+tax).  To receive the 
Robinson Roots discounted price, please make your hotel reservation by July 31, 2025.

Our Saturday banquet will be held at the hotel. The banquet cost for adults and children is: 
$65 for adults $35 children ages 5-11, no charge ages 0-4.  Note:  there will be a plated vegetarian/vegan entrée for those family members that are vegetarian/vegan.  

Our Sunday lunch will be held at Maggiano’s Little Italy, located just down the street from the hotel.  The cost for the luncheon for adults and children is: $45 for adults $25 children ages 5-11, no charge ages 0-4.

We will be sending a letter in May with more information on the reunion weekend and 
a sign-up form for the banquet, lunch, and activities. The Robinson Reunion is quickly 
approaching; a wonderful opportunity to visit with one another and for the Philadelphia 
Chapter to host and serve our family.
