The Doretha Robinson Davis Scholarship Fund was created in honor of Doretha Robinson Davis, co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer and President of the Robinson Roots Family Reunion for over twenty-five (25) years until her retirement in 2006.

Mrs. Doretha Robinson Davis loved her family and proudly talked about our forefather and foremother Frederick & Louvenia Robinson. She challenged her Robinson Roots family members throughout the years to continue to carry on our proud heritage and to very importantly involve our young people in order to enrich our family reunions and to keep our strong heritage alive.

The Doretha Robinson Davis Scholarships were first awarded in 2014 at our annual family reunion in Philadelphia, PA and we look to continue with the awards from this time forward.
